Very delicious dishes. So many varieties of seafood all were super fresh. English speaking staff was there so jt was helpful to give orders. The place was full packed at 7pm so we had to wait for a little bit. Entire restaurant was super cozy. Definitely recommend this place

Amazing food with very reasonable price. Excellent service and attitude, they have servants that speak English and English menu. Always someone queuing up for a seat, so please prepared to wait if you want to try. Also saw other hkers eating in this restaurant too 玉子燒(omelette) is a must try

Amazing place for drinks and sides! Service was impeccable and they were very friendly to tourists. Kudos to the team! The yakitori and chicken wings were amazing. A pity the live squid was out of stock! We will definitely try it again from this shop the next time we are back here.

From the start you can tell this place is cool. Run only by what I can see as young adults entirely, this street bar setting seafood specialty izakaya makes no apologies for making you wait for your food. They know good food takes time and they’re not afraid to let you know. Artisanal dishes created passionately, the local special is fresh filleted squid, served entirely with absolutely nothing to spare, including the guts that is a delicacy when mixed w soy sauce unto itself. The energy palpable, this proud establishment is where foodies come. Try not to fill up too much tho, as I did, for the custom is to bar hop to as many places as you can, savoring the many pubs with exquisite delights.

Wow best tuna sushi I've tried in Sapporo and hakodate. It was so fatty. Salmon sashimi was good too but it had bones in it. The pork yakitori was soo juicy I had to order another one. Ended the meal with a sweet potato + ice cream which was so good. Definitely recommend this place.

Seafood was extremely fresh here! The chutoro was very soft & the salmon sashimi was very fatty. The scallop was basked in butter sauce, and the grilled squid was chewy and tasted really good with the mayonnaise that came with it. Highly recommend getting the salmon sashimi though, that was the highlight of the night. Staff is extremely helpful, they provided us the english menu right away. While all japanese staff are polite, the staff here were more than the usual level of polite.

This local joint is the real taste of Hakodate. Vert welcoming to tourists, to people with kids and they literally have an area dedicated for family. Non-smoking as well. The most important part is, the food taste so good, better than those famous touristy one. Problem is no English menu so you need to have some Japanese basics.
